You’re probably not brave enough to admit to it, but Siri sure piqued you’re interest to the point of envy. Well, you don’t have to admit to it anymore because intelligent, voice-assistant SayIt has now landed in the BlackBerry App World to take on the iOS counterpart. Mind you, SayIt isn’t just one of your regular voice-assistants that can dial your mother’s number, play your favorite track in the playlist, or set your alarm clock. The comprehensive software is able to do many other tasks to compete with those available in other platforms. Check these features out:

For SayIt App to work, do these necessary pre-checks (as stated in the App World):
1. Blackberry OS 5, 6, 7 and higher
2. Internet connection: BIS, BES, 3G, H+, EDGE, GPRS, Wifi.
3. Allow all permissions
4. Only the OFFICIAL OS must be installed in the handset

1. You can compose new Email, new Message (SMS), open BlackBerry Map, task, calendar, BBM, SMX using your own voice
2. You can convert Text to Speech and download the converted text as *.mp3 format
4. You can convert Speech to Text and copy the text to send via BBM, SMS, MMS, Email, etc.
5. You can ask anything you want Siri-like. You can ask: “How old is the earth?”, “Who is Justin Bieber?”, “1 plus 1 equals?”, “Tell me about your self?”

How to use:

1. Launch the application. Press “SayIt” button then say the command.
2. When composing new emails, Text messages, or BBM, using your voice, GO TO ANY TEXT INPUT FIELD (i.e in the BBM chat box or SMS typing field) Press BlackBerry’s Menu (BlackBerry logo) key, then choose SayIt. Say the message that you’d like to create and it will appear in the dialogue box.
3. Send.
